These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the mobile game Cooking Super Star, available on Google Play (package com.appon.cookingstar) and the Apple App Store (as “Cooking Super Star -Tasty City”, App ID 1662457495) (hereafter the “Game”), and any related services, features, or content provided by AppOn Software Private Limited (“AppOn”, “we”, “us”, “our”). By downloading, installing, or using the Game, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years of age (or the applicable age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use the Game. Users below that age may use the Game only with verifiable parental or guardian consent, and the parent or guardian is responsible for all use of the Game by that minor.
2. Licence to use the Game
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, AppOn grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable licence to install and use the Game on Android and iOS devices you own or control (and, for iOS, as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service and its Usage Rules), solely for personal, non-commercial entertainment.
3. Restrictions
You may not, and may not permit anyone else to:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive source code from the Game, except to the extent expressly permitted by applicable law.
- Modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works of the Game.
- Rent, lease, lend, sell, sub-license, or transfer the Game or your Game progress.
- Use bots, macros, memory editors, packet inspectors, or any automated means to interact with the Game.
- Cheat, exploit bugs for advantage (including abuse of the invite-reward system), or take any action that impairs other players’ experience.
- Use the Game to transmit unlawful, harassing, defamatory, or infringing content.
- Circumvent, remove, or disable any security or anti-cheat feature.
- Use the Game in any way that violates applicable law, third-party rights, or the policies of the store you obtained it from (Google Play or the Apple App Store).
4. Invites and rewards
The Game may let you share invite links with friends and earn in-game rewards when an invited friend installs and joins through your link. Invite rewards are Virtual Items (see §5), may be changed or discontinued at any time, and may be revoked where we detect fraud or abuse (for example self-invites, automated installs, or incentivised farming). You are responsible for sharing invite links only with people who have agreed to receive them.
5. In-app purchases and virtual items
The Game may offer in-app purchases — processed by Google Play Billing on Android and by Apple In-App Purchase (StoreKit) on iOS. When you make a purchase:
- Payment is processed by the store you purchased through (Google Play or the Apple App Store), subject to that store’s terms; AppOn does not receive or store your payment credentials.
- Virtual currency, coins, boosters, upgrades, unlocks, and other in-Game items (“Virtual Items”) are licensed to you, not sold. Virtual Items have no monetary value, cannot be redeemed for cash, transferred, gifted, or exchanged outside the Game.
- All purchases are final and non-refundable except as required by applicable law or the applicable store’s refund policy. Refund requests should generally be submitted through the store you purchased from (Google Play: Help → Report a Problem; App Store: reportaproblem.apple.com).
- Virtual Items may be modified, suspended, or removed at any time (see §9).
- Consumables (e.g., single-use boosters) are non-refundable once used.
6. Advertising
The Game is monetised through advertising served by Google AdMob and its mediation partners, alongside optional in-app purchases. Ads are shown at natural break points (between levels, on level completion, and as optional rewarded ads). See our Privacy Policy for the list of ad-network partners and how to opt out of personalised ads.
7. User conduct
You agree not to use the Game or its invite features to harass, spam, deceive, or otherwise harm others. AppOn may investigate reports of misconduct and, at its sole discretion, warn, restrict, or block any user violating these Terms. Repeat or severe violations may result in a permanent ban across all AppOn games.
8. Intellectual property
All rights in the Game — including source code, artwork, sound, music, characters, trademarks, logos, and gameplay design — are owned by or licensed to AppOn and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual-property laws worldwide. Nothing in these Terms transfers any ownership right to you. “Cooking Super Star”, “AppOn”, and related marks are trademarks of AppOn Software Private Limited.
9. Updates, changes, and discontinuation
AppOn may add, modify, or remove Game features, Virtual Items, or services at any time without prior notice, including discontinuing the Game in whole or in part. Where reasonably possible we will notify you of material changes in the Game itself. Continued use of the Game after such changes constitutes acceptance. You are not entitled to a refund solely because of feature changes.
10. Termination and data deletion
You may stop using the Game at any time by uninstalling it. To request deletion of your Game data (progress, invite records), email appon.innovate@gmail.com; we will process deletion within 30 days. Uninstalling the Game does not automatically delete server-side data.
AppOn may suspend or terminate your access to the Game or specific features immediately, without notice, if you breach these Terms, engage in cheating or fraud, or if required by law. Upon termination the licence in §2 ends and any unused Virtual Items are forfeited.
11. Third-party services
The Game integrates third-party services (Google Play services on Android, Apple platform services on iOS, Google Firebase, Google AdMob, and the ad-network partners listed in the Privacy Policy). Your use of those services is also subject to their respective terms. AppOn is not responsible for third-party services and does not endorse their content.
12. Disclaimer of warranties
The Game is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE”, with all faults and without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, AppOn disclaims all express and implied warranties, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, and any warranty that the Game will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or free from viruses.
13. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall AppOn or its affiliates, officers, employees, or licensors be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, use, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with the Game or these Terms, whether based in contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability, or any other legal theory, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Game or these Terms shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid AppOn for the Game in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) US $50.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless AppOn and its affiliates from any claim, demand, loss, liability, damage, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to (a) your breach of these Terms, (b) your misuse of the Game, or (c) your violation of any applicable law or third-party right.
15. Store third-party beneficiaries
Google Play: you acknowledge that Google Play is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and has the right (deemed accepted) to enforce them against you as they relate to your use of the Game obtained through the Google Play Store.
Apple: if you obtained the Game through the Apple App Store, you acknowledge that (a) these Terms are between you and AppOn only, not with Apple, and Apple is not responsible for the Game or its content; (b) Apple has no obligation to furnish maintenance or support for the Game; (c) in the event the Game fails to conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any) — to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation; (d) Apple is not responsible for addressing any claim relating to the Game, including product-liability, regulatory, or consumer-protection claims; (e) in the event of a third-party claim that the Game infringes intellectual-property rights, AppOn, not Apple, is responsible for its investigation, defence, settlement and discharge; (f) you represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated a “terrorist supporting” country and are not on any U.S. Government restricted-parties list; and (g) Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
16. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by and construed under the laws of India, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Subject to §17, any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Game shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Pune, Maharashtra, India.
17. Dispute resolution
Before initiating a formal proceeding, you agree to first contact appon.innovate@gmail.com to attempt to resolve the dispute informally. If the dispute is not resolved within 60 days, either party may initiate proceedings in the courts named in §16. Nothing in these Terms prevents either party from seeking urgent injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction.
18. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated Terms take effect when posted at this URL with a new “Last updated” date. Material changes will additionally be surfaced in the Game before they take effect. Your continued use of the Game after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
19. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision shall be enforced to the maximum extent permissible and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
20. Entire agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any additional terms displayed in the Game, constitute the entire agreement between you and AppOn concerning the Game and supersede any prior or contemporaneous understandings.
